Nikwax Softshell Proof – 300ml

Nikwax SoftShell Proof Wash-In is designed for ease and efficiency, making it simple to apply in a washing machine. Its Durable Water Repellency (DWR) develops naturally through air drying, eliminating the need for tumble drying. This not only saves energy but also protects older, more delicate garments from heat damage. The washing machine application ensures comprehensive treatment, covering seams, tapes, cords, and fabric. Specifically optimised for softshell garments, it leaves a flexible water-repellent layer on individual fibres, allowing moisture vapour to pass through and maintaining breathability.

Application Instructions

For best results, follow these steps:

• Remove all non-washable parts from the garment.
• Always clean the item(s) first with Nikwax Tech Wash in a separate wash cycle. Drying before waterproofing is not necessary.
• Recommended for Windstopper®, Schoeller®, and all other softshell clothing.

How to Use:

1. Remove all detergent build-up from the detergent dispenser.
2. Place a maximum of 2 clean garments in the washing machine.
3. Use 100ml per garment.
4. Run a 30°C synthetic cycle with a slow spin.

• Avoid using detergents.
